How often are border wait times updated?
CBP says border wait times are updated hourly. Each row on the board shows the time CBP last updated that lane, and this site checks for updated CBP data about every 20 minutes.
What is a FAST lane at the border?
FAST is the CBP expedited commercial clearance program for eligible low-risk shipments. FAST participation involves approved drivers and qualifying CTPAT-certified supply chain participants. Where a crossing has FAST lanes, the board shows their status next to the standard commercial lanes.
Which crossings appear on this board?
The board includes U.S.-Mexico and U.S.-Canada land crossings for which the CBP Border Wait Times service provides commercial vehicle data. Crossings without commercial vehicle data are not listed.
